Falon Donohue, Executive Director – VentureOhio
Falon Donohue is a community activist, startup advisor, and veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Her passion is helping people find ways to help each other and the community they live and work in. A tireless cheerleader for entrepreneurs, Falon regularly organizes and attends business and community-building events in Columbus and throughout Ohio.

Panelists:

    • Andy Jenks, Partner – Drive Capital
      Andy has been an entrepreneur his entire life, starting with a recycled golfball business when he was 15. Prior to joining Drive, he was the co-founder of Formation Data Systems, a software defined storage company. Before Formation, Andy has been a founder of two other software businesses: Discovery Mining, acquired by Interwoven, and Infinite Research/Compete, acquired by WPP. Across his career, he spent time writing code for Alexa Internet (now part of Amazon), selling marketing software and as CEO of Autonomy Optimost, and evaluating investment opportunities as an EIR at Khosla Ventures and EMC Ventures. Andy has a B.S from the University of Utah.
    • Brad Mascho, Co-Founder – CrossChx
      Brad has made it his mission to fix what is broken and build what does not exist. In 2012, Brad founded CrossChx, the leader in healthcare identity management, which has created over 50 million unique patient IDs, grown to over 100 full-time employees, and was named a best place to work for three consecutive years. At CrossChx, Brad directed all internal and external operations including building and leading teams of salespeople, scientists, creatives, and engineers. He also directed all legal and financial due diligence for venture capital raises totaling nearly $40 million. After raising a Series C round of venture funding, Brad transitioned daily operations and became a member of the Executive Board of CrossChx. Prior to founding CrossChx, Brad spent a decade in Washington, DC where he served as a senior advisor to members of Congress and held leadership roles at an industry-leading insurance association and an early-stage investment firm. Brad has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree from Miami University.
    • Mike Stubler, Managing Director – Draper Triangle
      Mike has over 30 years of experience with start-up technology companies both as a co-founder and early stage investor. Prior to Draper Triangle, Mike spent the majority of his career serving as CFO and COO of several successful technology companies, where he directed the financial and business operations, acquisitions, mergers and capital raising functions. Mike serves on the boards of OnShift, Aethon, Rhiza and NineSpot. His prior investments include TOA Technologies (acquired by Oracle), Renal Solutions (acquired by Fresenius) and ClubCom (acquired by Precor). Mike is a Director and Past President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association and a Director of the Ohio Venture Association. He is also Chairman of the Board of Innovation Works, the Ben Franklin Technology Partner of southwest PA. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA. Mike is an avid runner and has completed twenty six marathons.
    • Adam Veverka, Director of Business Development – NewSpring Capital
      Adam joined NewSpring in 2006 and leads deal origination initiatives for NewSpring’s four distinct investment strategies. While at NewSpring, he has worked on transactions across a variety of sectors, including software, healthcare, business services and manufacturing. Prior to joining NewSpring, Adam was part of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group at Credit Suisse where he worked on transactions in the financial institutions and financial technology sectors. Prior to Investment Banking, Adam worked in Credit Suisse’s Information Technology division where he worked closely with the Chief Technology Officer evaluating new technologies for the firm. Adam graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s honors business program with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology and minors in Finance and Real Estate. While completing his degree, Adam spent two summers at Goldman Sachs in New York and also worked on the Chairman’s staff at American Financial Group / Chiquita Brands in Cincinnati.
